A cross-platform vision that wove mobile, desktop and web into one cohesive ecosystem to help SMBs and solo operators through the PCI-DSS compliance journey — and improve stickiness with value-added services.

Challenge. Small businesses juggle compliance with running their operations, and the existing solutions weren't integrated. Mobile and desktop onboarding sat isolated from the web portal and leaned on help-desk agents over the phone — driving up onboarding times and hurting early ROI.

What I did

• Researched a diverse user base and built the "Moon Yoga Studios" combined business persona to represent varied profiles and goals.
• Ran competitive analysis of rival mobile and desktop security apps to find standards and gaps.
• Mapped journeys to introduce mobile early and monitor desktop behaviour through it.
• Ran frequent workshops, reviews and real-world testing — producing 150+ screens of seamless cross-platform interaction.

Impact

• 4/5 stakeholders gave positive feedback in demos
• 90% said they'd use the system more often
• a 3–5 year vision for future development
• became the reference vision behind an ecosystem housing 5,000,000+ users worldwide by the end of 2022
